Gramin Dak Sevaks के  पदों के लिए Cycling का ज्ञान होना आवश्यक हैं, यदि अभ्यर्थी को स्कूटर या मोटर साइकिल चलाने का ज्ञान है, तो उसे साइकिल चलाने का ज्ञान भी माना जा सकता है।

Adequate alternate means of Livelihood आजीविका के पर्याप्त वैकल्पिक साधन होना चाहिए

The candidate applying for the post shall note that he/she shall have adequate means of livelihood as stipulated in Rule 3–A (iii) of GDS (Conduct and Engagement) Rules, 2020to support himself/ herself and his/ her family from other sources so as to supplement his/her income. However, this shall not be a prerequisite for candidates for the purpose of selection. Selected candidate shall be required to comply with this condition within 30 days after selection but before engagement. The candidate shall furnish an undertaking in the application form itself in Annexure-IV that he/ she has other sources of income besides the allowances to be paid by the Government to support livelihood for himself/ herself and his/her family. The candidate after selection as GDS shall have to give the undertaking again before engagement.

• यह शर्त केवल GDS BPM पद के लिए लागू है। जीडीएस बीपीएम को केवल जिस गांव के लिए नियुक्ति हुआ हैं उसी गाँव में रहना होगा, शाखा डाकघर ग्राम पंचायत या केंद्र सरकार या राज्य सरकार के स्वामित्व वाले भवन में कार्य कर सकता है।

डिवीजन का चयन और वरीयता का प्रयोग Gramin Dak Sevak Bharti 2022

उम्मीदवार चयनित डिवीजन के सभी योग्य पदों के लिए अपनी उम्मीदवारी जमा करने के लिए केवल एक डिवीजन का चयन कर सकता है। उम्मीदवार को पंजीकरण संख्या और पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर पर भेजे गए ओटीपी देकर अपने विवरण को मान्य करना होगा।

डिवीजन का चयन करने पर, सभी पात्र पदों (समुदाय और उम्र के आधार पर) की एक सूची प्रदर्शित की जाएगी, जिसके खिलाफ उम्मीदवार को अपनी वरीयता देनी होगी। उम्मीदवार द्वारा एक बार प्रयोग/प्रस्तुत करने के बाद वरीयता और विकल्प अंतिम है और इसके तहत बदला नहीं जाएगा।

Post Office Recruitment Job Profile

BRANCH POSTMASTER (BPM)

The Job Profile of Branch Post Master will include-

1. Carrying out transactions (offline and online) of Branch Post Office and India Post Payments Bank(IPPB) using the handheld device/mobile device/smartphone.
2. Marketing of Postal products and services, India Post Payments Bank services, various services provided by Customer Services Centres (CSC), procurement of business in the villages or Gram Panchayats within the jurisdiction of the Branch Post Office. This would include organizing melas and door-to-door canvassing for business requirements and popularising schemes of government.

3. Maintenance of records, upkeep of handheld device/mobile device/smartphone.
4. Branch Postmaster has the overall responsibility of smooth and timely functioning of Post Office including mail conveyance and mail delivery. He/she might be assisted by Assistant Branch Post Master. BPM will be required to do combined duties of ABPMs as and when ordered. In some of the Branch Post Offices, there may not be ABPM post and the BPM has to do all the work of the BO.

5. Any other work assigned by superiors like IPO/ASPO/SPOs/SSPOs etc.

ASSISTANT BRANCH POSTMASTER (ABPM)

The Job Profile of Assistant Branch Post Master will include:-

1. Sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, deposits/payments/other transactions of IPPB.
2. Assisting Branch Postmaster in counter duties using handheld device/mobile device/smartphone.
3. Marketing of Postal products and services, India Post Payments Bank services, various services provided by Customer Services Centre’s(CSC), procurement of business in the villages or Gram

Panchayats within the jurisdiction of the Branch Post Office. This would include organizing melas and door-to-door canvassing for business requirements and popularizing schemes of government.

4. ABPM will also be required to do Combined Duty of BPMs as and when ordered.

Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS)

Dak Sevaks will be engaged in Departmental offices like Sub post offices, Head Post offices etc. The Job Profile of DakSevak will include:-

1. Sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, deposits/payments/other transactions of IPPBand any other duties assigned by Postmaster/Sub Postmaster.
2. Dak Sevaks may have to work in sorting offices of Railway Mail Service (RMS).
3. Dak Sevaks in mail offices and Business Offices will handle receiving and dispatching of mail bag, transhipment of bags
4. Dak Sevaks also have to assist Post Masters/Sub Postmasters in managing the smooth functioning of Departmental Post Offices and do marketing, business procurement or any other work assigned by the Post Master or IPO/ASPO/SPOs/SSPOs/SRM/SSRM etc.

SELECTION CRITERIA AND COMMUNICATIONS OF SELECTION

उम्मीदवार की योग्यता स्थिति और जमा किए गए पदों की वरीयता के आधार पर सिस्टम जनरेटेड मेरिट सूची के अनुसार चयन किया जाएगा। अनुसार सभी पात्रता मानदंडों को पूरा करने के अधीन होगा

Gramin Dak Sevak Bharti 2022: No weigh tage will be given for higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in 10^th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing

Gramin Dak Sevak Bharti 2022: the selection. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory. However, the merit calculation will be made on the score of the subjects for which merit is considered as per the Board.

For applicants with marks, their total marks will be worked out by taking into account the marks obtained in the compulsory and elective/optional subjects (other than extra subjects, if any).

For applicants having both Total Marks and Grading Point (i.e. mark list issued with total marks and grading point both), in such cases the method used will be as follows

“The candidate’s total marks will be worked out while ignoring the Grading Point; this methodology will ensure that candidate possessing higher marks will be selected.” For candidates having grades subject-wise, marks will be arrived for each subject (compulsory and elective subjects but not extra subjects), by applying the multiplying factor of 9.5 in the following manner:-

In case of the marks lists containing the Grades/Points, marks will be reckoned by taking conversion of Grades and points with the multiplication factor (9.5) against the maximum points or grade as 100.
